Pilgrim

Our oldest dog, Pilgrim, has been sick these last few months and today was her last day with us. Those of you that had the good fortune to meet her know that she was one of the sweetest, most intelligent dogs to ever find her way into a human family. We rescued her from the Humane Society eleven years ago and she's been a wonderful friend ever since. She helped run off car thieves that were trying to steal our neighbor's car, slept protectively outside Mia's room, and provided firm discipline as the alpha dog of our little pack. We will miss her.
