Lake Lanier

The Kings rented a lake house on Lake Lanier last week and everybody showed up for some fun. Lanier is a big lake about an hour north of Atlanta. Trish, Sylvie, and the Danish exchange student Amalie were there. Liz's brother Steve, his wife Lindsay, and their son Tyler flew in from San Antonio, as well.

The water was great.... the house had a nice boat dock with easy swimming access...

On Sunday, Lindsay's folks drove up from south Georgia and brought some outstanding barbecue for lunch. They also brought along Lindsay's sister Liz, with her husband Hank and son Hayden, who is just a little younger than Ty.

Hank was pulling little panfish out of the water using sliced cheese. Mia got a big kick out of it....

One of the biggest attractions of the weekend was jumping off the top level of the dock. Most of the big folks did it at one point or another while we were there....
