Some of you may remember our neighbors Jack and Susan - and their daughters Zoe and Eva. They used to live across the street and moved last year to Florida. Mia and Zoe were very close in age and grew up together, playing a lot and starting pre-K and daycare together. Well, they were in town for a visit this week and we saw them a few times. We got some pictures when the girls came over to play for a few hours one afternoon....

Earlier today, we took a walk across the street to check on our plot at the local community garden. The work on the property is really coming along and everybody's plots are looking great...

It's definitely hot, summertime weather. Jackson rests next to a neighbor's strawberry patch - he's about ready for a nap.....

One family has four little girls. They're the 'Tucker Girl Sprouts'.....

Mia shows off our biggest eggplant - the pride of the fleet....

Look out, Vanna White....

"That's a cucumber?"

The whole garden is looking good....

We've got a couple of varieties of bell pepper growing....

It's still hard to believe this is only a couple of hundred yards from our house.....
