A few weeks back, we headed to Pompano Beach, Florida for a week of R & R. I've been meaning to post some pictures..... better late than never!
A few days before we left, we realized our friends Jack & Susan lived very close to the hotel we'd be staying in. If you've followed our blog, you might remember they lived across the street from us until they moved to Boca Raton a couple of years ago. We figured out Boca is only a few miles from Pompano Beach....
Their daughter Zoe is just a few months younger than Mia. They were really good friends before the move, growing up together, starting school together, even going to the same daycare for awhile. Eva is right between our kids in age and the four of them always have fun together.
We called when we realized how close we'd be and it turned out we would arrive the night of Eva's 6th birthday party. After we checked in to our hotel, we headed over to catch up and have some fun....
It was a 'faux slumber party' so all the kids had on pajamas and had breakfast for dinner.
